Paying once is cheaper over the long run, and monthly is far cheaper to start. Monthly puts the build, the hosting and the upkeep into one price with no big bill at the beginning, and I keep the site running for as long as you are on it. Paying once means a bigger cheque up front and a site that is yours from launch. No. On a monthly plan you pay the first month and nothing else to get started, with no build fee or deposit on top. The cost of designing and building the site sits inside the monthly price, which is what the minimum term is there to cover. On the pay-once route there is no setup fee either: the build price is split half at the start and half on launch.

On the monthly plans, yes: 12 months on both Launch and Growth. That gives enough time to design, build and support the site properly. After that it rolls monthly and you can cancel with 30 days notice and no cancellation charge. If you pay for the build once there is no term at all.

Yes. The subscription is ongoing, so it continues monthly for as long as you want the site live. That is what covers the hosting, the maintenance and the edits, and it is what lets me spread the cost of the build instead of charging it up front.

The minimum term is a commitment, so the remaining months of it are still payable. That is what makes it possible to build the site up front and spread the cost, rather than invoicing the whole build on day one. Once you are past it this stops applying and 30 days notice is all it takes.

Your subscription is billed monthly in advance. Your proposal will confirm the price, billing dates, VAT treatment and any additional work charges before anything starts.

It can, but never without warning. You will get at least 30 days notice before any change to your monthly price. In practice this is about keeping pace with hosting and running costs rather than anything sudden.

I will chase it with you first. If an invoice stays unpaid I may pause work or suspend the site after giving reasonable notice, and I can charge interest and recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation. In practice I would far rather hear from you and work something out.

Up to the point the build starts, yes. If we cannot land on a design you are happy with, I will refund what you have paid and part ways with no hard feelings. Once we are into building the site the work is being done and paid for as it goes, so refunds after that point are at my discretion.

On a monthly plan, as many as you reasonably need. Text, images, prices, services and small layout adjustments are all included, and there is no minute counter to watch. What is not included is new pages, a full redesign, new functionality, custom CRM work, integrations and copywriting campaigns, and I quote those before starting. If requests ever ran far beyond ordinary use I would talk to you about scope rather than quietly stop doing them.

On the monthly plans, yes. Hosting, SSL, backups and routine maintenance are all in the price while your subscription is active, along with the monitoring that watches the site around the clock. If you bought your build outright you can add hosting, SSL and backups for £25 a month, and unlimited edits for £55 a month on top. Both are optional and you can host the site yourself instead.

Yes. If you already have a domain, connecting and configuring it is included. If you need a new one, I can register it for you for a small registration fee. Either way the domain is yours, and if I register it you can ask me to transfer it to you whenever you like.

New pages, major design changes, new functionality, custom CRM work, integrations and copywriting beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately. The common ones are published with their prices, and you only pay for the ones you actually want. See the optional extras.

You can, by buying it. While you are subscribed the site stays with me, because that is the only way the monthly price can be what it is. When you leave you can take it with you by paying off whatever is left of the build, and after 28 months of payments there is nothing left to pay and the site is simply yours. If you would rather not, that is fine too: you keep your domain name and everything you gave me along the way, meaning your content, your images, your branding and your business data.

Start with the one-off price of your plan, £2,600 on Launch or £3,780 on Growth, then knock off £95 for every month you have paid on Launch, or £135 a month on Growth. Eighteen months on Launch works out at £890. By month 28 it reaches zero on both plans. I will put the figure in writing before you commit to anything.

Always. The domain is yours whatever happens. If I register it for you, you can ask me to transfer it to you at any time and I will.

No. I focus on new bespoke websites built from the ground up. That way I control the design, performance, structure and technical foundation from day one.

Speed, security and control. There is no database or stack of plugins sitting behind your site, so there is far less for anyone to attack and no monthly scramble to patch something before it breaks. Pages load faster because the code is only what your site genuinely needs. And when you want something changed, it gets changed properly instead of being bent to fit whatever a theme allows.

Requests are normally acknowledged within one business day. Standard edits are usually completed within two to three business days; larger changes are quoted first.

Every site includes search ready technical foundations, page structure, metadata and performance work. Analytics comes with the monthly plans, where the site sits on my analytics account and I can look at the numbers with you. Buy the build outright and it is not part of it, though I can set you up on your own account for a small fee. Ongoing SEO campaigns, content production and link building are separate services.

No honest agency can guarantee rankings, traffic or leads. I build a strong technical and content foundation, then measure and improve what I can control.

I monitor the site, maintain backups and handle routine technical issues while your subscription is active. Third-party services remain subject to their own availability and terms.
